for free throws but any shot is a breeze.. I recommend the Neverflat to everyone I play with.. At least 3 other people have purchased Neverflats off my recommendation..they say they are likewise so pleased…I noticed other commenters state the ball has a different sound or loses bounce. I don’t get the negativity..The ball does sound sort of like a propane tank but the sound doesn’t bother me whatsoever. The reason the ball probably lost its bounce is due to the fact the air hole was tampered with somehow. In which case you can file a warranty claim (as long as it wasn’t intentional)and Spalding will replace it. The ball is heavier which makes it pretty good for training to improve your game..additionally it’s one tough ball.. mine got hit by a tractor trailer truck and didn’t pop! Overall I must say I would give this ball 100 stars out of 10! Would recommend with 0 hesitation. Read Less

Went flat within 5 hours of use

Purchased this for my son’s birthday and he only played with it a handful of times before it deflated. No puncture marks either

Interesting sound, inconsistent bounce

The sound makes the ball feel cheap but the material seems to be of decent quality. However, It’s the protruding grip/lacing design that causes the ball to bounce inconsistently.

Disappointed in purchase, annoying sound when bounced

I haven’t extensively played with this ball to issue a full review of its performance. I had bought the ball with higher hopes, but was disappointed by the springy, echoey sound when bouncing this ball. Threw off my experience and enjoyment a bit.

Never Flat (Black) is peeling

Ball is peeling away at the seems and only had this a few months. My son hasn't played with it much since he is still playing football. We were shooting yesterday and we noticed the defect. I purchased these balls in bulk because I have a never flat ball that I purchased in 2014 and it’s still inflated. The only issue I have is that it is 10 years old. Ball will not bounce.

I have had this ball for over a year and it hasn’t gotten any better. It feels like it’s fully inflated but it will not bounce. It actually takes effort to get it to bounce and to use it. Disappointed

I wouldn’t recommend this ball. I bought it at Dicks. It seemed really nice at first but quickly disintegrated and went flat. Although used outside we didn’t leave it out. Very disappointed. I’ve had much cheaper balls last longer.
