Returns Information

Spalding® guarantees total customer satisfaction with the items you purchase from Spalding.com. If you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase, you may return any item that is in the original condition that it was received from Spalding.com – unused and accompanied by original packaging.

  • Select the item(s) you wish to return and follow the steps to print the prepaid return shipping label.
  • Repackage the returned items in either the original shipping bag or packaging of your choice (make sure there are no other labels on it), and apply the shipping label.
  • Drop it in your mailbox or take it to the nearest USPS or FedEx location.

When your return label is scanned by the carrier, you will receive an email that your return is in process. When your items reach our returns center, we will process your return and then submit a credit to your original form of payment. An email will be sent to you when your refund is in process. Your credit card provider will apply your credit according to their standards and guidelines.

Which items are not eligible for refunds and returns?

Spalding U Design custom basketballs in addition to select a limited edition and 94 Series releases are non-refundable. All non-refundable products are identified on the product page.

How can I return a basketball hoop or a basketball hoop replacement part?

Basketball Hoops or Replacement Parts in "new condition" may be returned to us within 30 days of placing an order. Basketball Hoops or Replacement Parts must be unused, unassembled, and contain all original product packaging and accessories. All returns will be charged the cost of return shipping plus a 15% restocking fee.

To return a Basketball Hoop or Replacement Parts:

  • Securely package and protect item(s) to prevent damage during return shipping.
  • Include all paperwork, instructions, parts, and accessories.
  • Call our Customer Service Team at 1-800-772-5346 for assistance with your return.

What happens to my MVP points on a return?

If you return any item purchased on Spalding.com in compliance with the terms and conditions of our returns policy, any points through your purchase will be automatically deducted from your MVP Rewards balance.

Can I return products that were purchased from another retailer?

We only accept returns for items purchased from Spalding.com. If the items were purchased elsewhere, please contact that retailer to complete your return.

If you have a defective product, we want to hear about it. Please contact our Consumer Services Department via our contact form or by calling toll-free at 1-800-772-5346 (Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm CST).

How will my refund be distributed?

You will be refunded for the merchandise total, plus applicable sales tax paid, and shipping. If you return any part of an order that was part of a promotion, your refund may be reduced.

Please allow 14 business days for us to process your return and 1 to 2 billing cycles for the returns credit to show up on your credit card statement.

Refunds will be remitted in the same form as the original purchase when possible. Please note that gift orders will be refunded to the original purchaser.

I'm from outside the U.S., how can I exchange or return merchandise?

You will need to contact the retailer or distributor from which you purchased the product. If you have any additional questions, call 1-800-772-5346, 8am - 6pm CT Monday through Friday, or fill out the contact form to send comments or inquiries.

Will it cost me to return my order?

We offer Free Returns on all items (except for Basketball Hoops & Replacement Parts) when you use the prepaid return shipping label that you print from Spalding.com.

Do you offer exchanges?

No, Spalding.com does not offer exchanges. If you need to exchange an item, please return your item using the returns form in the shipment, and place a new order.

What if my Basketball System is damaged?

Please open and inspect your items immediately upon arrival. You will have 10 days from the day you receive your order to make claims for any item damaged during shipping. After this time period, claims for damage incurred during shipment may be denied.
