Great product

I've installed 2 of these so far. Easy to install. Now if I can only get the kids to stop tossing rocks at them. I wouldn't have to replace them so often. Bottom line. This is a great Backboard.

Q: Does this particular backboard require spacers and the foam pad to connect the rim to it? It appears the rim sits flush against that metal plate with no contact with the glass at all correct?
